Installing or Updating

1 - Download the Disk Image
Click the link to the right to download the application's disk image (dmg) file to your computer. CopyWrite pictured in this example.

2 - Mount the Disk Image
When the download is complete, your web browser may automatically mount (open) the disk. If it does not, locate the disk image file and open it (the image will 'mount' and a new disk will appear on your desktop).

3 - Install or Update the Application
If you're updating an existing copy of the application, make sure you quit any other copies you may have running. Drag the application to the Applications folder on your startup disk, overwriting the original if one is present. Note that you may need to provide an administrator's user name and password to install applications.

4 - Eject and Delete the Disk Image
Eject the mounted disk. You can then drag the disk image file to the trash as it is no longer needed once the application is installed.

5 - Add a Shortcut to the Dock
If you want a shortcut to the application in your dock, drag the application from your Applications folder onto your Dock.
