With Temporis, you can create stunning timelines for print, web sites, documents, presentations, and more. Create fashionable timelines in a timely fashion.
Timelines have traditionally been easiest to create on a Mac with graphics applications, even though such applications weren't designed to keep track of timeline data. With the drag-and-drop ease of Temporis, you can create a complete, customized timeline document in no time at all. Adding events is as easy as 'drawing' them in place. Temporis' timeline property controls are always ready at hand, making it easy to give your timeline a personal touch.
The simple timeline property controls allow you to choose the look and feel that's right for your timeline, whether formal and stuffy for the suits or whimsical and fun for the wacky. Either way will do.
While the timeline property controls let you pick a default look for all events in the timeline, the Event Inspector panel lets you customize the look of individual events, letting you add a little accent or a lot of accent.
The Arrange feature automatically arranges the events in your timeline in a staggered order, keeping the timeline nice and neat.
Pass It On
When you've finished your timeline, export it as a graphic for use with any word processor, page layout tool, or presentation application, just use the Export feature. Temporis can generate a PDF or a TIFF graphic, which any word processor or layout application (such as Word, Pages, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.) can read.
A graphic isn't the only thing you can export with Temporis. The export controls also allow you to export your timeline's event data as XML or comma-separated value files.
You can even use Temporis alongside Transcriva to create a graphical timeline to accompany your transcript.
Who It's Meant For
Temporis is an excellent application for creating a stylish sequential or date-based timeline, however, Temporis is not a project scheduler or planner and does not support Gantt charts, dependencies, etc.
Try It Free
Temporis is completely free to try with some limitations. Unregistered users can only have twenty events in a timeline and the timeline background is watermarked. All of these limitations can be removed by purchasing a license and registering. This allows anybody to try Temporis as long as they like, completely free.
